Warning Message:The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau.
* Until further notice.
* At 8 PM Friday the stage was 34.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...the river will fall to a stage of 34.1 feet
by Sunday morning.
* Impact...at 36.0 feet...the flood gate on Themis street closes.

WarningSum:...Dense Fog Advisory In Effect Until 9 Am Cdt This Morning...
Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a dense fog
advisory...which is in effect until 9 am CDT this morning.
* Dense fog has already formed in southeast Missouri and will
spread eastward to the Mississippi River counties of southwest
Illinois and southwest Kentucky early this morning.
* Visibility: the fog will reduce visibilities down to a quarter
mile or less over the advisory area.
* Impacts: dense fog will make air..maritime...and vehicular
travel difficult through the early morning hours due to reduced
visibility.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
